And wow Doris and Ronnie are friends. And Doris called her sometimes. Would never of guessed them becoming friends. Toast did a good job too. But poor Steve Doris is missing so he went to loo for her/. And now he is missing too. I hope he show up at the Williams. Then Danny needs to come and know his brother is safe and OK.

Very suspenseful there in the end! Toast really came through for them, didn't he?!
And now Doris is gone again and, worse, so is Steve. He's lucky to have his bonus parents in Jersey!

I loved all three of these stories. Hope you bring Patrick & Veronica back occasionally even if it is just a quick short story. I really love the way you brought them to life & the way they "adopted" Steve into the family.

I was so looking forward to the story arcs of Danny's mother on the show & was so disappointed in the way she was portrayed. They kept saying there was a great chemistry between Scott & Melanie Griffith, but I just didn't see her as being his mother. All it seemed to me was another excuse to not have the bromance between Scott & Alex again.

Sorry for ranting. I look forward to your new stories.

This last chapter sounded like a wonderful sequel could come out of this with Danny, Veronica, and Patrick returning to help Steve through his mom's coming disappearance. However, you have said you would retire Veronica and Patrick. I would not be opposed to you doing otherwise. (Hint, Hint!) Anywho, thank you for a great story! It brought me many hours of enjoyment.

Got caught up on this story today-read from about chapter 17 on. Had really enjoyed the first part that I had already read-but, the last 10 chapters-to say I enjoyed those would be an understatement. You did a really good job on this story. While I can't wait to read the remaining chapters, let me say I loved your "police case." That was so well-written-maybe, the best police procedural that I have read on this site. Love Toast! The scenes in the interrogation room were hilarious! Hate to see you retire Patrick and Veronica! Would love to see you write more stories with them as others do with Catherine! And I really didn't expect you to make Doris so likeable. Really glad you did that. Just a great story! Know there's still some surprises left in the last two chapters as you have hinted. My curiosity is peaked!

Coming to the end. Wrapping up the loose ends. Glad Toast is feeling better.

I am going to miss Patrick and Veronica Williams, hope to see them again sometime in the future, but in the meantime I look forward to reading other stories from you. I love the voice, the feeling, the emotion you give the characters. When I read your stories, it's like a mini movie or mini show playing in my head as I read along.
