Publicola chapter 7 . 8/30/2014 That was an astonishingly well-written fic. You did such a great job of mirroring the fast-paced Whedonesque chatter that was in the Avengers movie, and I really enjoyed some of the behind-the-scenes elements as well. Excellent work. |
Publicola chapter 6 . 8/30/2014 Huh. Never thought of that. Your paragraph where you mention "Tony Stark's nightmare generator" being him missing the catch on the nuke and watching as NYC gets blown up... I wonder why they didn't use that for Iron Man 3? Given how close a shave it was, it certainly fits better than having Iron Man wake up in a cold sweat from 'merely' crossing the portal and barely getting back before it was closed. Or perhaps used both. Either would have been pretty cinematically powerful, though. |
Guest chapter 7 . 6/4/2014 Oh wow! I am reeling. This was so wonderful. I sat and read the whole thing in one sitting. I'm really glad I didn't have to wait for it in pieces parts. It would have made me insane. Its a lovely AU piece. the writing is fabulous but then I knew it would be. The emails you send to the Helicarrier Podcast are amazing even though they are shorter. The writing is thorough, distinct, and very, very moving. Brava! PurpleD54 PS.I feel so bad for Clint. Did you give him a happy ending someplace? I will keep reading your stuff. If its there, I will find it. |
kaheels chapter 7 . 4/19/2014 I have read this whole story two times in the past few months and I love it so much. Honestly, this is exactly how I picture their relationship happening. Even if the ending is now canonically a bit different, I just can't get enough of this story. Alys is an awesome character, one of my favorite OCs ever. I am a little worried that Agents of SHIELD will never be able to do the cellist justice now that I have read this story. |
a fan chapter 7 . 4/6/2014 Love it! Just found this but absolutely love it! Especially the whole trading cards thing! |
missjaguar chapter 7 . 3/22/2014 This was amazing! Coulson deserves so much more than what the movies gives of him, and you delivered with this :) |
CoulsonRocks chapter 7 . 12/22/2013 Brilliant story with Coulson and the cellist! |
CoulsonRocks chapter 4 . 12/22/2013 This is such a brilliant story, and your characterizations are spot on. I love Alys and Coulson's relationship and the incredibly rich depth of details you are providing. Those are what really make this story so special. |
CoulsonRocks chapter 1 . 12/20/2013 Great chapter! I love your characterization of Phil, and I love the wit. |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/11/2013 whoa whoa whoa. either you predicted the future, or the producers referanced this fic on agents of sheild! :) (the bridge episode) great writing, by the way. |
skie89 chapter 7 . 12/9/2013 I hope Alys eventually works her magic on Clint. I also hope that there is a sequel to this. Congrats. |
Guest chapter 7 . 11/17/2013 That last paragraph cracked me up! So funny! I love this story so much. Congrats on finishing! |
Erica Dawn chapter 7 . 10/17/2013 Oh, I enjoyed this story a lot. I like how you created an OC and made her fully formed. Most of us just pair him up with someone already established. I hope you do continue writing about them, adjusting to life with him at work and living in the tower...plus, the kid question? |
Qweb chapter 7 . 10/11/2013 I am so glad to see the finale of this story, though I will miss it. Love Alys' reaction to meeting Steve. She can't believe it! And then she introduces Phil's "coworker" to her friend. *snort* "Well, if he's introduced you to Captain America they'll be no peeling you off him now." And the whole discussion about the cards is great. How could they be valuable with my picture on them. He'd never put them in a pocket without a sleeve on them. And Steve realizes that he was told the story by a man who has a loose relationship with the truth. (And it was so unnecessary! The jab was aimed at Cap and he was doing everything he could.) At least Fury spared the card from Phil's father. And the wedding gift was awesome. Poor Clint. He missed his chance with Phil and then he has to sleep in a shrine to Steve. *snicker* I like how they choose the real Steve over their collections, sending them to the Smithsonian to not embarrass their friend. Tony's awesome plans for a practice room, all because of Bruce's joke. And Coulson's "well played." Loved it all. Hope you have another story up your sleeve. |
TerraMacMillan chapter 7 . 10/10/2013 Ah! It's over. This is so sad... Great chapter. Brilliant story. I've very much enjoyed reading this. |
