Drew/Thalia is the best ever thank you so much for this

I need to start this off by apologizing - I promised to review this sometime yesterday and I completely forgot about it. Being a little hard-pressed for time just isn't a good excuse anymore, isn't it? *shame* Really, truly sorry.

Based on your small author's note, it's safe to assume that this is your first time writing femslash, right? (You can correct me if I'm wrong by the way.) I find that fact really surprising because you carried off this fic extremely -fantastically- well, considering this is most definitely a pairing I would never imagine happening. But you managed to make this pairing work through this amazing one-shot, so kudos to you. Huzzah for all things non-canon!

I really liked how this wasn't based off of pointless smut. It's subtly done how you delved into the realm of deeper emotions, especially Drew. You converted one of the most unlikable characters into something more sympathetic to the readers, twisting her so that she isn't another shrewd Barbie who just wants to get into Jason's pants.

[She instantly assumed they had crushes on each other.] - Okay, I'm trying to block my mind away from disturbing images of Thalia and Jason liking each other in *that* way. Well, Drew's an Aphrodite girl, so it makes sense that she jumps to this assumption first. It's actually quite funny of her to think that way, now that I've read it over a couple of times.

[She fell in love far too easily, and she was susceptible to getting her heart broken.] - This should be the motto for all Aphrodite kids. I have know idea why, but when I read this particular sentence, I'm thinking of Piper as well. I know that Rick Riordan is all for canon happily-ever-afters and the probability of Jason leaving her at this point will most likely never happen, but I still think Jason's going to break Piper's heart for some reason. Alright, this is a little off topic...

[The daughter of Zeus was still with the Hunters of Artemis] - It's pretty clever of Thalia to use girls as an outlet to actually get some while still retaining her vows.

[She recalled the first time they had ever hooked up. ] - This was a great transition into one of her memories. I like it so much better than spelling out the word "flashback".

[Were she with Jason, she felt he would kiss her slowly and passionately, like a lover would.] - Yes, I would think this way as well, although I really loved how you've given Thalia a much darker persona than how usually is in the books. She's the complete opposite of how Zoe was, but I think it really works for her in this scenario. I admire the irony here - personally, I would have thought that Jason would be just a tad darker, given his Roman attributes, and Thalia would be lighter, Greek and all.

[she had nearly run into an upset Jason] - Aw, this was so sweet! I love fics that show this kind of sibling love between the two because they're aren't enough. Like Thalia and Annabeth's vague relationship, Rick must have forgotten that Thalia and Jason have been separated for years and had the audacity to cut their time together short throughout the second series. He bypassed the long overdue sister-brother bonding time that we all needed for more Percabeth (which honestly isn't a surprise nowadays). Thank you for adding this part in!

[Not just sexual intercourse in general, of course.] - So she's addicted to just Thalia? Nice. Drew's got a thing for Graces, doesn't she?

[thrift-store shopping demigoddess] - Lol, I love the way Drew described her. Well, Piper's choppy hairstyle also leaves a lot to be desired.

["I just hope I don't have to hear about it."] - I can see Thalia saying these things. I think she only has a soft heart when it comes Annabeth or Jason (and Percy in the favorable, non-canon world we know of). Part of me blames Luke for the life Thalia's currently leading. I'm not a big Thuke fan - but c'mon, Rick, you COULDN'T have made Thalia present while Luke was dying? I swear, I almost threw The Last Olympian out of my window when Luke asked Annabeth if she ever loved him. Seriously, Rick? Jesus Christ.

[Her train of thought was instantly thrown from its current track when the daughter of Zeus sucked her stiff clit between sharp teeth and swirled her tongue around the sensitive bundle of nerves.] - Whoa. Damn. Again, are you sure you aren't a secret femslash writer?

[Drew didn't know why she was so lured in by her complete opposite.] - I want to say that opposites attract, but that sounds ridiculously cliche. Oh well, I said it anyway. XD

Reading back on this review, I'm sorry if some parts sound like I'm venting off to you, but I really enjoyed this fic. The grammar was flawless, as usual, and I thought the words flowed together beautifully. I'd actually like to read another fic of these two together, but a larger part of me likes how this is a standalone one-shot. Much more angst that way.

You should know by now that I'm always looking forward to reading your stories. :)

THis is really good. Even though Drew is a slightly conceited character, you managed to make her more human, I guess you could say. The emotions rolling off of her are just amazing and the name for this is perfect, reflecting on the way she feels and the way some people (like me) think she actually is inside. If you could make a sequel to this I would be estatic. Really amazing job.

More please! I loved this and I'm hoping there's more on the way.

The emotions coming off from Drew are palpable.

It really is a fantastic work, and an exploration of this unlikely relationship is wonderful. As a one-shot, it's brilliant by itself. As a work that could be continued, I would love to see Thalia's view on this relationship.

Makes you wonder about where Artemis draws the line with her vows, and where the air of melancholy surrounding Thalia comes from, and what Aphrodite must think of this latest juicy drama.

More explicit than anything you've written before. You did it VERY well. Thank you for posting this, it really made my day.

Damn...dan...damn...holy FUCK...this, this was seriously very, very well written, in all honestly I hate Drew I think everyonre does but...damn you sure know how to create a ocean of emotions...damn, I loved this story, seriously...just...damn.
