It's great to see you avoid a couple of plot holes in the original season- why are the "noble" Royal Knights working for Lucemon, and where were those besides Dynasmon and RhodoKnightmon?

And to geek out for a moment- I'd totally forgotten about Shadow! Awesome. I don't remember Twilight at all- I have got to read through this again at some point.

As for the rest of the story, it's also awesome. I just love Hiroki, he sounds, as you yourself put it Absolutely Adorable.

I have just spent the last week or so re-reading the whole Digicross series(the last time I read it was in 03, and I left a few reviews under the name chronodramon.), and I feel that the week was well spent.

The series is even better the second time around, what with the newer chapters, and are only getting better. Your ability to take a totally different rounte than the anime, making it your own while simultaneously keeping the characters intact, is done masterfully.

I hope that you get around to updating this fic again soon.

Pretty cool so far; my only difficulty is trying to place the chapters in relation to Tamers, but perhaps that will be easier once you update again and I can read both stories in order. Introducing Lucemon before Cherubimon's defeat like this seems to take off a bit of the dramatic edge- but I'm not picky. I hope you introduce the other Double Spirit forms at some point, as well!

Looks like the next chapter will probably be focusing mainly on JP since he is my favorite character of Digimon Season 4. The only reason he's my favorite character is because I like someone who always thinks about food. Hey, Patrick, I was wondering if when you put up the next chapter, you can put in my made-up Digimon in there? Here he is:

Animal Digimon

ATTACKS: Lightning Wheel, Razor Slice

Personality: Socramon is known to be happy-go-lucky at times but he gets angry real easily.

Description: Looks like Socrates the bobcat from "Adventures From The Book Of Virtues" except with blue and green rooster tail feathers for a tail and feet similar to Veedramon Zero.

Description of attacks: Lightning Wheel-Socramon forms a ball of yellow electric energy between the tips of his ears then tilts his head back and flings it forward with his ears while shouting "Whah!" at the same time. Razor Slice-Socramon brings back his right claws as they glow white then uses them to slash his enemies really hard.

There you go. And if you want, you can also use the evil version of him and here he is:

Hey man. First off, I wanna apologize for my last review of Digicross. Pretty much all of the shit I said in that one was unwarranted. All I would like to say in my defense is that I was dead tired and hopped up on cold medicine when I wrote it.

Now, for this chapter, I liked the perspective you wrote it in, something of a deviation from normal, but cool nonetheless. The only real complaint I have with this chapter is the lack of background on the fight. But that is to be understood, since this is from a first person perspective. So all in all, I give this chapter a nine out of ten!
