Aww! this is adorable! I love how you write everyone's character its so perfect!

God, Harry and Ron were such hopeless cases. There can be nothing worse for a boy to be turned down by a girl whom he has gotten up the courage to ask out, or to dance or whatever. Well, I suppose there is being a girl who never gets asked any of those things. But I digress.

At least Hermione was kind and gentle and she wasn't just making excuses. I hope that at that stage Ginny really liked Neville and didn't just accept him because she wouldn't be able to go to the ball otherwise, as there was no guarantee anyone else would ask her.

Of course Harry did eventually ask, but only because he needed a partner, and at least Ginny didn't throw Neville over.

I hate to describe stories as "cute," but honestly this story is one of the most adorable stories I have ever read. I love you for posting it! It made me smile; it made my day.

Neville and Hermione are just perfectly characterized, and I adored the way you wrote this. Good job!

Ah, the details you come up with to fill the gaps are what make the stories. I've been reading a few other works lately that have great ideas, but aren't written out well... And frankly, it kills the stories that have SO much potential.

I always thought Neville had a little crush on Hermione in the first few...can't say I can remember whether it was addressed in the books or not other than him saying he'd asked her. Excuse my rant-I'm a bit tired. Anyways, I liked your Neville...still unsure of himself but we all know he's got the potential. :)

Is it really weird that I absolutely loved Ginny in this even though she was only in the last three-ish paragraphs? The strange dance thing was great. Very nicely done!
