RBNHUG chapter 1 . 5/24/2015
Wow that was intense. Could you try a jealous Jane with the Pike situation, i have always seen his love for Lisbon as very passionate, the man never kissed her even on the cheek until Bluebird. I am kind of imagining what could have been unleashed had he tried.
I love all your stories.

Patresa chapter 1 . 3/19/2014
Never heard of this poem, actually I'm not really an Arts person. But gotta confess Mentalist has been a benefit for me educationally. Learnt so much from it. Story was deep and dark. Lisbon's emotional turnmoils were spot on considering that time. Nice read.

Oh...
What a story !
A really beautiful story !
Sad but still very amazing.

And the reference. I will read the poem. But I still think the association is (too much) true.

Thank you for this story

Thank you for introducing me to such a beautiful poem.
Loved your idea and writing style! Although I'd never be able to think of Jane as Lucifer.
Mac5689 chapter 1 . 8/2/2013
I have never heard of Eloa before, but your right Jane and Lisbon's relationship does seem similar to that of Eloa's and Lucifer's, or at least how Cho explained it.
whovalista chapter 1 . 4/1/2013
So, I was stalking your profile (as you do) and came across this story.

Like many others I had never heard of Eloa before this story so thank you for introducing me to that wonderful piece of literature.

This story, like all of your others, was absolutely amazing. I loved the comparisons between Lisbon and Eloa, and that Cho was such a little nerd in knowing everything! I also loved that Jane didn't want Lisbon to go and see Lorelei, perhaps for his own selfish needs or just trying to protect her? Either way, you portrayed their emotions very well.
I loved the references to Lisbon going to the shooting range, and then the gym and boxing and hurting herself, just proving she doesn't feel much pain anymore due to Jane,
There are so many things, I could say about this story and so much I want to say but I don't think I could put into words how much I enjoyed this. Thank you!
Hecate chapter 1 . 3/30/2013
I think the story resonates with so many because in spite of how much we would like to imagine that Jane and Lisbon could eventually find peace upon the death/capture of Red John we viscerally sense this will never be the case. More and more you get the feeling that Lisbon is as much a tool to Jane as Lorelei was. Ironically, in the case of Lorelei, it was Jane who ended up losing the most and yet was too arrogant and stubborn to realize it. I'm not sure I even want Jane and Lisbon to be together any longer. He truly does not deserve her. The story beautifully illustrated this point. I like that the ending was left unresolved. Perhaps in the end, Lisbon will not meet the fate of Eloa after all.
Guest chapter 1 . 12/2/2012
Heartbreaking, beautiful and incredibly well observed. I hadn't come across Eloa before - and the comparison works so well.
Guest chapter 1 . 11/11/2012
wow this was incredible. loved it so much. respect.
lolly2222 chapter 1 . 10/13/2012
I have to say this one really resonated with me. The idea and comparison between Lisbon and Eloa is superb and the poem (one I never heard before) is so emotional and poignant. Exceptional as a one-shot or as a series and beautifully crafted!
