I've been following since chapter five and seeing this notification...wow, that's crazy. I hope you stay safe out there and keep writing where your heart leads you. You've got great storytelling, incredible dialogue, and superb battle scenes. you're gonna knock it outa the part. Thank you for this experience, eight years later.

I'm sad to see that it's ending, but glad to know how it would've gone. This was always one of my favorite fics, so I'm disappointed that there won't be more, but even this much is more than I expected at this point, tbh. You said you're writing a new story? Is that going to be uploaded here, or are you writing it elsewhere?

It’s a shame that things ended here but I understand after so long and with no plans to fall back on it would be almost impossible to continue this story. I am happy to finally have had confirmation after all these years that this won’t continue but I think this will always remain as one of those stories I will return to every year or so to reread. Thank you for writing this and I wish you luck in your future endeavors! :3

It's pretty daunting picking up a story that is so long, but I've got to admit that I'm a sucker for stories that fit themselves within the cannon and tell side or background stories. The chapters being nice and short really helps with that too. :)

Normally I like to leave some critiques after the stories I read and there is a lot I could pick apart here, but I'm going to go with the assumption that you're a much better writer now than you were eight years ago, so I'll hold off on that until I catch up... whenever that's going to be.

Anyhow, I look forward to seeing where the very long train is headed.

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed your story when you were writing it all those years ago. It was interesting and a head of its time for a lot of the tropes out there now. I really appreciate the effort you put into the story back then with the constant updates. Thanks for posting an ending to the story.

Hello! I'm glad to know that you are okay and I was happily surprised to see this update. And WOW what a behemoth for the end, no wonder you lost steam. That would have been aloooot to write, it would have probably doubled the current length of the story. I completely understand and it was sweet of you to post a summation of what coulda/woulda happened. I wish you the best luck in your new story and future endeavors!

ok I'll say that this is a copout, and a half-assed one but at least it is a functional ending, which is better then I have gotten on many stories. I would have liked to see your story continue cause it was a great read but I understand losing you drive. hope the best for you and good luck on your next story.

Thank you for even writing this story in the first place; I really enjoyed it while it was updating regularly. I still do (and probably will) enjoy rereading this every once in awhile. Also, thank you for taking the time to close things up properly, even though it's not with a proper chapter or anything, because I have some stories in my follows that have not been updated for years without any indication of whether the authors will continue them or not.
I appreciate what you have done so far, and I wish you luck and success in your future endeavours.
