That was cute, very sweet of Zatanna. :) Your description of the spell was gorgeous, I could see it building up in my head and I smiled when you revealed what was going on, ahh, Dick :c The fact that Robin's having a birthday party with the team even though they don't know his actual birthdate is an adorable idea, too; I can imagine the other members of the team celebrating parties on their respective birthdays and Robin feeling left out. For not being particularly fond of the pairing, you did a nice job My favorite part was "He asks her ... shuts the door behind them", because it was very them, haha.

Grammar-wise, I'm always excited at present tense! I think there are some parts where your tenses are off because of your use of present tense ("But both he ... planned for him") but it wasn't particularly distracting.
