This is incredible! An intense, captivating read! I actually love the occasional second-person piece; I think the style can work very well for short intense pieces IF it is done right and you have certainly done it justice here! It puts you right into the head of the protagonists, intensifies the sensations and emotions you write about. I love how raw it is at times and yet there's never any doubt about the love involved.
"you love that for the first time in four years you are seeing her become the person she was supposed to be before tragedy stole her life" - this has got to be one of my favorite lines in a fic, ever! The raw emotional truth of it.
And of course you WIN with that last line of Castle! Haha, perfect!

I wrote a second person piece once (but utilized you and I, rather than you and he/she), and it was very challenging and fun to write - but just as much fun and sooo interesting to read the reviews and comments afterward, because it touches the readers on a different emotional level.
