I've gotta say, this story, in its own way, is just as good as Chunin Exam Day. That said, I disagree with both of you on the concept of insurmountable odds.

Yes people like Orochimaru and Itachi are difficult to beat... but that is it. They aren't some hyper aware gods outside of plot device logic, something you neatly sidestepped in this story so far. The scary thing about Itachi and Orochimaru was never really a matter of skill so much as it was all the little Trump cards they have up their sleeves. That said, the time loop scenario is the best possible way to beat them. The only problem is that authors that explore this route deliberately avoid the simple solutions to these kinds of problems because it would mean moving the story forward. It's an excuse for multiple training montages, really.

No, the simple way to beat characters of this nature is to find the heavy hitters, the specialists, the obscure teamups, and throw them at the guy over and over to get as many secrets out as possible and then send them all out again after informing them of the secrets. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Can't convince them that he's actually there? Act like a traitor in the enemy's camp and give them a shot at the guy. If they're outside the village, thats one thing. But once they're in Konoha? Thats a gorram invasion. This means War!

Biggest problem I had with CED was how hard it was to convince jonin to go after someone. That's not canon! As this last chapter showed, wanted men got taken down. HARD. Anytime it was possible. Give them a shot at payback when they have a HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE?! It will be on like Donkey Kong.

Now, add this to a time loop? The only unbeatable ones are those that require levels of power you just can't hit inside a month - Pein, Obito, and Kaguya come to mind. Village killers. People that Jiraiya or Sarutobi were actually scared of taking on. Period. What did Itachi and Kisame do when Jiraiya showed up with Gai? They ran. They're good, not god.

Im slightly disappointed, Hinata at the least, could go back sometimes for the sake of seeing her sister...?

OMG HINATA-CHAN, NO!

Why does everyone make a huge issue of the orange clothes in a world where ninja can literally change their entire appearance at will with a hand-sign? Well, apart from that, this is an interesting story, although by this point Hinata being basically a standard super-sly OC rather than Hinata has caused me to start to tune out a little. There's a point where character growth is character growth and then there's a point where writing a character in certain way makes them utterly unrecognizable. I tend to appreciate the "strong Hinata" trope when I can follow her journey from canon Hinata to new-and-shiny Hinata throughout the story.

But this is a good piece of fanfiction, for sure.

This was amazing. Sure Hinata is pretty OOC, but she's a really fun version. Before the plot really gets "plotty" the jokes were great. The harem was a great twist on the standard way that goes down. I really had a good time reading this. If only it continued.

I REALLY LOVE THIS STORY! Coming to the end and finding out it's been dead since 2012 makes me sick!
