Okay, your story telling is fucking terrible. Not a flame, mate, but you have no pace, give no description, give us NOTHING to play with. You just go right to the stats, giving us specific losses, and really, this is boring. You need to take it slower, take your time to develop the scene, and actually think of the battle scene.

Going off of what you wrote, you seem to give no one ANY tactics what-so-ever. The Reapers aren't long range fighters, which is their greatest weakness. They would be outgunned by the massive range the ODPs, and even if they were targeted, the UNSC would have their ships form a defensive line between their targets and the ODPs. They are defensive and support platforms, not frontline cannon fodder. They'd pick off the Reapers at a few thousand kilometers, and as they got closer, start massive maneuvers and hit and run tactics. They would utilize their speed and range. It's like having a battalion of soldiers from 1776, making a formation and firing with muskets, fighting a squad of marines. Outnumbered, yes, but their training and equipment, their weapons, would do massive damage before the red coats could ever hope to land a hit. That's the difference in weapons and range between the UNSC and the Reapers.

Another thing you seem to have a problem with is the capitalization of nouns. Squids, Reapers, Reach, Sangheilios are all capitalized, because they are names, places, or things.

Back to your story telling, you just did a terrible job. It's a good concept, but you just butcher it with ships coming out of no where, no actual battleground, no actual battle. Really, here, it's like your reading off a report, it's annoying and lazy. And what's this 1,200/1500 and 250/600? This isn't a math equation, dude, use words, give us a story, no an outline for a battle. Put us in the heart of the battle, give us the scene through the eyes of one of the captains, tells us SOMETHING for gods sake. Where did those Zeus class ships come from? Where were they during this entire battle?

Another major fault is that you keep on telling us, 15 carriers, 12 frigates, those are the things you want to avoid in a story. Don;t go on to tell us a specific number a ships right off the bat, it's not climatic, it's boring and I just want to stop reading this story, but I can't just sit by and watch you go on without knowing the basics of writing a story.

Give us a perspective, a view, a window to see how this battle is taking place. Look at the other stories, they all give us some perspective, over the shoulder line of sight. Some jump from person to person, others stick, that's up to you, but you need to give us something.

A 32km ship for the UNSC as well as a few others and only a few years after the war ended is unrealistic.

After the war ended the sangheili entered a civil war that was fuel by ONI black ops. The UNSC saw its real battle when hood sent the Infinity to aid arbiter and mostly to see how the Infinity fairs against covenant ships.

With the collapse of the covenant the technology also goes. The sangheili and some other covenant species had some of their own tech but only little, the ships and most of everything will be lost in a few decades. They don't build ships the prophets provided the rest of the covenant with ships with them gone well no more new ships or new technology.

Their is a covenant loyalists out there and its called storm but their tech is primitive at best the infinity and her battle group of 10 charon frigates destroyed the covenant fleet orbiting requem easily.

I started getting annoyed a long time ago when authors keep giving the new covenant better technology or ships when they didn't even make it or worked on a new technology, or the UNSC only advancing because the sangheili gave technology that they have no knowledge on how it works.

The sangheili at this point will be weak, they lost allot of technology and are under populated when they lost allot in their civil war and when some who still believe in forerunner as gods left as exiles to look for forerunner technology to used against their enemies. To bad they can't get any of it.

You don't have to op the UNSC, they can already beat anything in me easily.

ME frigates main gun is like 1kt to 5kt and travel less then a few hundred km/s.

Carriers don't believe they have a mass accelerator.

The ODP grid on earth and battle groups can produce more firepower in 5 seconds then everything in ME even reapers combined.

The infinity MAC's yield in the TT, why well they had an entire battle group and ODP grid firing at it and it was quoted ineffective thats like 1tt of fire power every 5seconds and the Infinity put a whole in it with 2 shots, OP much?

The 64kt yield for the MAC come from the charon light frigate with its light coil MAC and its smaller reactors, the Paris frigate will have a more powerful MAC as its not a light coil MAC and it has more powerful reactors.

Hell cruiser could have low MT fire power for MAC's and the Paris frigate could have 120kt MAC. Now they should be more powerful, better reactors to pump more power into the MAC better armor so can further reducing the recoiled better ways to reduce the recoiled so they can increase the yield more and not be afraid to blow up. Their FTL is a few hundred to maybe a few thousand ly a day, the Infinity made it from requem to earth in a few hours thats thousands of ly in a few hours.
Their shields are powerful enough were the Infinity rammed a battle cruiser with out it putting a dent on the shields or scratching the paint.

Frigates with out shields with the new titanium a3 armor can tanked the 1 kt to 5kt shots from me frigates all day long as long as it doesn't hit the same place were it hit twice. Even then it will have to hit the exact place were it hit a few times before it penetrates the armor thats little damage, the reactors are protected by at least 3 metets of armor so they will never come close to hitting their reactors. ME ships have no chance what so ever.

UNSC is just better then ME.

Codex says it takes 4 ME dradnoughts to match 1 reaper. Hell the hull of reapers is crap when the Normandy with its single digit yield for its MA put a hole right through sovereign in me 1. The main gun on reapers is not even an energy weapon is a lava gun they fire molten metal.

ME has no real threat against anything in the halo verse. The infinity could probably go against the entire reaper battle group that was on earth in me3 and win with little to no damage.
