Ah this was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, and also sad in the best possible way where one wipes a stray tear or two (or several handkerchieves worth of tears), but doesn't feel weighted down when the fic ends.

It's incredibly hard to write this genre and keep the balance between clichéd and too-flowery but you did it with truly masterful eloquence, a real delight to read.

This was so beautiful that I foudn myself re-reading sentences over and over just to admire them. It took me forever to read because every paragaph - sometimes several sentences in one - made me stop and go back just to read them again.

I love angel!Arthur and real!Alfred falling in love, and this story of them was just perfect. I would love to see more! But if it's completely over, then thank you. This was just stunning.

I seem to feel your words rather than read them. They touch my heart, and my heart absorbs the essence of each letter and sentence, and the beating of my heart increases or decreases accordingly, and sometimes my chest will clench and constrict around my heart in a weak attempt to protect it from the pain your words make me feel, and sometimes my heart will break free of the veins and arteries chaining it down and just flutter within me, as if it had soft feathery wings to whisper colour into me with every beat. And so, I guess that regardless of the fact that this story was lovely the entire way through, it was no surprise that I would end up sobbing afterwards regardless. Thank you.
