Marlene's last name was McKinnon, not McKenna. While it's your story and you can use whatever names you like for the characters, since it's a fanfic when you mention a person who was actually in the books you could at least get their name the same. You don't even seem to try.

This is the second story of yours I've read where you spelled Sprout's first name wrong. It's Pomona, not Pamona. It's easy enough to check - her name is all over the Internet.

Hm. While I like a good Dumble!bashing story like the next guy, only if he loses at the end of course, he wasn't very clever in this.

There are two main factions in magical Britain, the Light and the Dark. The Dark hate him, the Light back him up to a point, however that point is far out, even more so with a couple well placed potions or charms.

If he had gone against the Dark, families like the Potters, the Longbottoms, the Bones', the Moodys, and, albeit with manpower instead of money, the Weasleys. Those are some wealthy families but the Dark are even more so, the canon!family that throws money around most are the dark Malfoys. And even if the Malfoys, Blacks, Lestranges, and others hate him, with a couple well placed loyalty charms or potions he gets even them under his control as students, as long as it's not too obvious. And in the Wizengamot the Light will even vote in his favour against the Dark. To reduce their money after he lays open their bribery, or even getting them thrown into Azkaban and confiscate almost everything and arrange that he has access to it.

At some point he would get overconfident and make mistakes and rile up the Light, but the Dark's guaranteed opposition is out of the way at that point.

Since galleons are gold I don't think the dursleys will have any trouble.

I have read Soo Much HP fanfiction. In the hundreds of stories I have read, both serious ones and crackfic, I have never, ever, ever considered or read of Harry adopting Moody. Stunningly original, and it makes sense within your story. I'm reading all your stories, and enjoy your work thoroughly, but I especially applaud you for that shining moment when I was as stunned as Mad-Eye.
