Nice contrast of their perspective, though do need to make clear Maka and Soul's dialogue. I can feel Tsubaki's emotion in this.
I hope you write an badass Maka breakout of Tsubaki from that hellhole plus the total annihilation of those pathetic parent's dreams.

Well... Been long enough since the last chapter, it's been good too, seems like you really know how to capture the emotions of characters.
The only real concern of the chapter I have is the length of the chapter and the dialogue between Maka and Soul was relatively difficult to tell the two apart. If you separate the people's dialogue by paragraphs, it will be easier to read and understand.
