stumbled across your story and am just wondering is it finished or are you still intending a chapter or two more? What ever your answer I really like these two chapters.

And then you let Harry as eleven year old abused boy write this letter. Or even come to these conclusions. You realize that even in later life as adults most abused children are not able to develop a perspective to see things as they really were without professional help? And that is without Harry suddenly being an expert on Goblin interactions or being super smart and so on.

Also Goblin Deus Ex Machina is overused.

This is a terrific story so far.
Too bad it seems to be abandoned.
Its one of the most honest portrayals of British Magical society I've read. I could see it going in several directions.

Absolutely brilliant. The guidance of Barchoke and his requirements of Hermione felt very much like formal, ancient Japan. I empathized with Hermione but doubt I would have passed the tests, beyond getting the 20% discount! Very insightful.

what is it about the potterverse that is so compelling? you point out very clearly the idiocy, but still.. we write about it, and rant as you did so well.. and read the same names, places, and events shuffled over and over.
