I am of different mindset. if I spent months surviving me being food to monsters. I need time to heal before even thinking of travelling especially of almost a day flight that will be exhausting. Next, Sirius who the effing jump to someone who has crutches and have a cast leg. Another, give updates to a missing person first. Harry doesn't know the political and school scenes yet and you expect him to jump immediately back to school? Magic doesn't mean shortcut to healing. You need time to absorb that you are alive, escaped, got home, but thrown to the world who will vilify you for being an attention seeking lying brat.

Dropped when I saw that Harry was compelled to explain to everybody he met that his parents don't like him... I mean really? You are on an island full of dinosaurs, and you bring up your homelife every time you introduce yourself?
