When in his life from a violent birth on his mother’s bed among worn bedding and worn furniture, from heaving wheezing squeezing through a packed chest still strong enough to huff out, “I can do this all the day long?”

More startling, how could a thunder god who slumps sugar and sweet cream like a healthy four year old with a foamy mustache, sprawl around a hybrid scientist/monster, archer/spy/assassin, a killing machine inhabiting a female shadow of death, scoot about warmed by twisty blankets and body heat, curl about a Stark knowing just who and what a Stark is?

The only possible answer is family.

Even the story made me feel relaxed. Good job!

THIS WAS TOO CUTE! Also, sleepy Steve is too adorable. He's precious. When he's awake, he's always so self-contained, but asleep? Looks his actual age. (He's really the youngest of the Avengers, if you think about it.)
