![]() ![]() ![]() This is spectacular. Your last line destroys me every time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I almost cried. This was great! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was really beautiful. I really can't think of anything else to call it. Great work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was so sad! I love Gwen with P, I am not a MJ fan at all. Stirs was beautifully written, I hope you do more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh wow. Oh my god. That was phenomenal. I could feel every single messed up emotion Peter was feeling... I could feel his pain because YOU could, and you poured the pain into the words of this story. I almost cried reading this, and making me cry while reading a story is a pretty hard thing to do. So congratulations, this story blew my mind. (Multiple times.) |
![]() ![]() ![]() So, this fic that I liked very much made me want to jump out of my seat and go watch the movie which I liked very much-RIGHT NOW. But first...I love the way we're in Peter's head and his thoughts sound so out of control when he's making the promise and later talking to Gwen (I can't- I can't- I can't.) And then you throw out a lifeline with "stop being alone, Peter," which was my favorite line, just before...well, you know. Also really liked that you included what Aunt May was feeling and the ghosts haunting Peter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() .god. I don't know whether to love this because it's beautiful or hate it because it's ridiculously sad. Seriously, this is wonderfully written. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. This was in incredible character exploration. I love the inner voice of Peter, the way you added his conscience and his conflicting thoughts into the scenes from the film. We truly didn't see enough of how much this promise tortured him inside. Thanks for sharing this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely. Especially including the last part, which is what's been haunting all of us, I think. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I loved that last part. I almost missed it because it was in italics instead of regular format. Way to tie in comic canon to the movie. Personally, I love Peter's history with Gwen. It's one of the saddest, most bittersweet stories in comics. I also kind of like how the authors eventually have him move on with MJ. I don't know, I always thought that for a superhero, Marvel kept Spider-Man's personal interactions pretty realistic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really well done. I like the "Be a good boy" voice, its kind of snarky while at the same time being his conscience. |
