Haha, that was pretty amusing.

Though, I kinda debate the idea that the kiss would have been blown out of proportion between birkhoff and nikita, and that nikita would actually threaten birkhoff with a gun, even if that is her way of dealing with most problems. I think she knows better than that, and would have more self control. Accidents happens with guns...Birkhoff certainly knows that.

Still, it was amusing to hear about Birkhoff dealing with *feelings*. Keep writing. :)

heh...Nikita has been a show that I think has replaced my Dark Angel interest. There's quite a lot of similarities, haha. Doesn't mean I'm forgetting about Dark Angel, of coures!

Well, enjoyed this first chapter. I've also increasingly developed a fondness for Birkhoff as the series progressed. Probably one of my favorite characters. :)

The dialogue was a bit confusing at first. It was a bit difficult to distinguish dialogue from thoughts...unless all of those were thoughts? and he was just imagining answers? Some formatting might make it a bit easier to understand.

This story definitely needs more chapters. I love that you adressed some of the things that the show hasnt.

In the story I imagined Birkhoff being almost half asleep during the conversation in the car, since he so deprived of sleep (even if he did get a little shuteye). Talking about emotions in that state is dangerous, its like being drunk and you can easily say something you dont mean and will regret. That seems to be exactly what happened here. Nikita should have known this and not talked about it until he was rested. Maybe you can use that in another chapter.

I really like this! I wish there was some more Sonya/Birkhoff though. I live that pairing but i havent found any fanfics of them :(

Finally! Birkhoff and Nikita talk to each other, express their feelings. And your Birkhoff thoughts were just too damn funny.
