Oh good, they are getting along, sort of. I hope she never slips up and calls Annis little country mouse.

Ch17: You know, she really should have a guard with her. She seems to get injured a lot. Magnus and Evey go together perfectly! *Sigh* Hopefully by the end of this story they will end up together. Oh, the parents are coming and the musician! This shall be very interesting indeed.

Ch18: They are good friends but Vailean's heart belongs to another! They author knows what she's doing.
Oops, good thing she diffused that before both of the Macintosh Mens tempers got involved!
Well, that was unexpected! The parents arriving and bringing George?! The hell? Next chapter best have an explanation!

Ch19: oh snap! This IS going to be a long week. Poor Magnus and poor Evey! Having George suddenly pop up is not gonna make this any easier!

Ch20: What a flashback! So Vailean forgot that did he? Well, I guess with all the stress he could have. Oh good she wasn't actually pregnant. He must have been relieved or maybe disappointed about that. But I wonder what he thought of his I Father /I following after Evey and calming her down? Did he follow them at all? And what about George? Find out in the next chapter!

Ch21: George needs to back off. Didn't she tell him that months ago? That she was going to be married to a Scottish Lord's Son (I so just wanted to write Scottish Lord) and that she couldn't see him anymore? Or does he even really care? I get this weird vibe when I read his parts. They just sound so...so...rehearsed! That's the word, rehearsed. Or maybe I feel that way because I know she Belongs with Magnus? Who knows? Anyhoo, on to the next chapter!

Ch22: Welp, that was awkward. George in one corner and Annis in other, watching the ones they love(not sure about George still) walking with another.
Vailean you twit! How could you even voice that idea?! Give the Musician a place, gah! *jumps through the story crossing dimensions to Slap him on the back of the head and call him an idiot before jumping back to reality*
And yelling that at your Father, "Why Don't YOU Marry Her Then?!", bah. The next chapter will show what happens next.

Ch23: GEORGE YE B*ST*RD! You stupid idiot! Why would they allow I you /I to marry Her anyway!? You are below her station! The same or possibly even lower than Annis'!
Grrrrr...next chapter!

Ch24: As sh*t, are ya happy now ya stupid, crappy Musician! She was finally happy, having fallen in love with her new country and you had to go and mess it up! When she finds oit it was YOUR fault she is never gonna speak to you again! Or she may grab a sword and run you through. I am not sure which.

Ch25: YAY! Go Helena! You are a great mom and an awesome person! I am so happy ot was you that saw them together in the corridor! I am so glad that Evey was able to help him realize he had feelings for her! Now that shall be married! *Dances around happily* Although, I do wonder what George thought of the new offer? Now that was NOT according to his plan! LOL!

This was an awesome story and I am sad to see it end. Do you think you'll ever write another Lord Macintosh/OC story again? I sincerely hope so because this was fantastic.

anyways it’s been years since i’ve actually read this fic, and i remember reading it when it was still getting started back in 2012–though i never followed it up until its finish and it wasn’t until recently that i remembered it and decided to read it all the way through to see what happened...and surprisingly enough, the characters you made out of what little the movie gives us are still my faves, even after forgetting about this fic for seven years.

Did this get...revamped and reposted? I feel like I read the ending before...

In any case, this makes me happy, that they finally found their way; that, even though it took Evey's mother to help them out with it, things came to where they need to be. :) Thank you for a lovely story, and an enjoyable adventure full of multi-dimensional characters.

Young Macintosh is acting like an ass. Woman need to be treated with respect, even in this day in age. His father understands that, but he doesn't. With that attitude he will never get a girl.

I have never been one for arranged marriages, even in this time. To think two people have to commit themselves to each other and they don't even know each other. That's just too much to ask.

This story is EPIC romantic! Magnus' proposal to Evy was the best part for me! Keep on writing pretty please!
