Amazing but disappointing that there wasn't more to it or more chapters with him teaching her new things.

Came back to this story to get over the sorrow of Kono having left the series. I loved how Steve helped her in your story develop her skills and her confidence.

So awesome! I can't imagine how nervous I'd be with Steve as a teacher. This was so good!

This was absolutely great! I'm a huge fan of UST and slow burns, and also one of the things that I enjoy about the McKono relationship, romantic or otherwise, is how much they have in common. I could so completely see this happening, it feels so real and so true to their characters.

It was also fascinating to glean a bit of information about what a spotter does - I feel like I have more understanding and appreciation of what snipers and spotters have to do, now. I had read that there was lots of maths involved, but now I have a better feel for why.

This was just really great. And I bet they hit six and I can just imagine Danny's reaction - that last line made me grin like a lunatic :D

Wonderful to read something like this about kono and Steve. Think it really captures the trainee mentor thing they have going.

Sorry I'm late reviewing. Got caught up a whirlwind of work. Anyway, back to business ;-) For starters, I'm really enjoying the Kono/Steve pairing. They should use this angle in the show, it would liven up the group dynamic without disturbing it. Plus putting Steve in the teaching role is a great way of showing the ninja skills he has without a big action scene (not that I don't like those; I love those as well). I just like the diversity in your stories. First he taught Kono how to fight, now he teachers her how to shoot...at this rate she's going to be like the female Jason Bourne (or Steve McGarrett, they match up well).

But now to the part that really made my jaw drop: your research. It's always top notch, but you really knocked it out of the park this time. Consider me impressed. If the writers on the average crime TV series put in the effort you have TV would be better for it. Who ever said fan fiction wasn't educational, haha. I was never good at judging distance so I will take Steve's teachings home with me. Speaking of which, where did you get all this info from? It sounds legit and not like something you find at the top of the page in a run-off-the-mill google search. *goes off to try*
