When I read the song part I was honestly thinking was that the actual song In this one lol cause everyone would be so confused like what book and only like half would understand what google was

This first chapter was excellent. The only thing I didn’t like was Harry’s sorting into Gryffindor. It seemed contrived. Ron’s sorting into Slytherin was nicely done.

I've read all the other story and when i got to the last chapter there i came to this one.. now i see that this has not been updated in a long time... has itvbeen abandoned after all even you said it would not be? I would appreciate an answer. Thank you, Reyes

This story is absolutely amazing, and I hope that one day it can be completed/worked on.

I was reading the Lone Traveler series by "dunuelos" and your story came up from one of the chapters. The premise is very interesting to me. Your writing is very easy to read and the imagery from your words make it more an enjoyable read. But..

My only problem with this...
If the hat was designed to be sensitive to signs of abuse... Why is it only happening to Harry now? It's impossible that Harry's the only student EVER to have suffered abuse. Everyone was so shocked to see what was happening... Which they shouldn't be if this is something the Hat should have always been able to do. If the Hat really were able to do this... As far as we know, the first student it should have helped should be Severus. I'm saying so because he's the only character we know that to some extent received a form of abuse from his father. (Some people may consider Tom Riddle's case as abuse as well from the orphanage... But the times then we're different so it's hard to say in his case.) In addition, Severus was also abused/bullied by the Marauders in Hogwarts' walls himself and it doesn't seem as if the "castle" cares at all about that.

I guess your story focuses on Harry because he is the main character... So, I guess in your AU no one else has been abused and Harry's time is the first...

This does seem really interesting. But I won't be reading this at this time... I'll probably pick it up again later. But then again, seeing as this has not been completed for years and seems to have been abandoned... I might not read it either.

I hope you'll find your muse to continue this if only for those who have followed the story this far. Good luck with your writing. (ᴗ)

Good chapter but it is rather annoying that we aren't told which blocks and seals actually were broken, just a vague "theres a lot"

Wow, I really enjoyed this story. A few typos in some places, but a really high quality story with a lot of ideas, pranks, and awesome powers is always my preferred read. I liked how it gained so much extra even while staying somewhat close to canon (of course, with all the main events changed enough that they were familiar and yet actually novel).

This is a great example of what I hope to one day do with my own story, even if I've barely started writing it. I did take some notes, though...!

I hope that one day you return and write more of this, but after five years I don't have much hope... :(

I'm sorry to see that this story (and your other works) have ceased to be active. I've enjoyed both versions (admittedly, the revised moreso) of this story, and was hoping for its continuance. Hope all is well and whatever had superseded scratching the collective itch of the fanfiction audience has gone swimmingly.
