We-writers, readers, and what-not- often miss the beauty of family love (known to the Greeks as superior to the love of friends or lovers); being reminded of its raw, unconditional power is heart-warming and definitely brought me a sense of awe. Such love (uncharacterized with the need for anything in return) is truly astounding and when written with such insight, beautiful.

This was incredible, of course. I absolutely adored the idea of it and thought to writing and Gaius' voice was executed very well. The part where you talk about what Gaius pins on Merlin, and how it is too much.. heartbreaking.

Gaius! I love him so much and I think that you portrayed him very well here! good work! I think it would be interesting to continue on with these types of stories in which Gaius is worried for Merlin, and perhaps even some vise-versa. Very well done on this one though!

THAT WAS AMAZING! (as usual ;)) With all of your stories you always manage to use beautiful wordage and the perfect highlighting of certain feelings that just make your stories even more real. You don't get many Gaius POVs, and this was perfect. I felt everything with him, and this was exactly how their reunion would have gone. Way to push through procrastination and put this out! It was sooo worth it!
