Wow you cannot leave us there! What is Cilla going to think of the idea of Johnny and Lavinia being business partners after everything that happened with Isannah? Is he going to keep the house or not? Are they going to get married soon, or not? See how many questions you have still to answer?

I love Johnny and Cilla's interactions, the same, and yet so different. One suggestion is that you might consider change the rating to T now that we're talking about "what it's like to be young and in love." ;)

Oh, beautiful! How good is this... Aye, there is quite a bit of unrealized potential in Johnny Tremain, both the book and the character himself. I plan to someday write in this fandom, someday years in the future when I can have my own account. For now, this must do. You did this so wonderfully, both of them. The Revolutionary War is a favorite part of American history for me, (it's also why I plan to write for Liberty's Kids someday) and suffice to say that this goes on my favorites. Keep writing!

I loved this so much! It was a truly beautiful and worthy epilogue of a beautiful book. I loved how Johnny was grown up and matured, but still Johnny, and the same with Cilla. You had me in tears right from the start when he almost collapsed on Rab's grave and again at the reunion between Johnny and Cilla and the Lornes.

You imitated Ester Forbes style so perfectly it truly felt like a perfect continuation of the original. While I enjoy when fan fiction writers make something their own by using their own style, my favorite stories will always be the ones that have the same flow as the original author's writing, because it shows how much the person who wrote the fan fiction was paying attention when they originally read the story. The care you put into this really shows.

You make me wonder why I've never looked for JT fanfic before. Then again, there probably isn't a lot of it out there as good as this.

Read the book in high school and his budding romance with Cilla was about the only thing I took away from it until reading it again a decade later, but both times I was annoyed that it ended when it did - romantically speaking, nowhere! You've resurrected it - oh, perfectly, and realistically too. Not only J & C but all the other characters ring true. Especially Revere, a favorite of mine.

You write romance really deliciously and it's time I admitted that when I'm in the mood for something on the sensual side I visit your page. In fact I owe you about twenty reviews on various Secret Garden and Prydain things, and I'd love to owe you about twenty more (hint. hint.).

Speaking of Prydain, I wish you'd join us on the author's forum.
