This has gotta be quick, but I'm so glad they found him. But there's still the worry about what they did to Denzel, and how that might change him. And if Bergstein's loose, then there's always the possibility that someone else is in Denzel's place now... Still, good chapter.

O my gosh, I wonder what they're doing to him! I'm concerned about the "but only human right now" part. If they've got Hojo's information, then it can't be good. I do enjoy the banter and interaction between all the characters, even Kera, which is unusual for me as I don't often care of OCs in a fanfic. So well done!

At first I thought this would be a nice coming-of-age story. For Denzel, obviously, but probably also for Cloud, since he got thrust into fatherhood without nine months to prepare for it. And I still think that...but it's shaping up to be so much more. The implications of Hojo's experiments and this group with ties to Jenova and their interest in Denzel both surprised me, in a good way. Denzel's capabilities are interesting, especially for someone not directly influenced by mako. I wonder if he's not the only one who can act or heal beyond their seeming capabilities. It would give new meaning to the title of Advent Children. This looks great so far!
