No time to login but wasnt there a 2nd chapter called Midnight that was from Tashas pov? I liked it and id like to fave it...

That was darker than I thought it was going to be... and Barton's denial at the end was rather unsettling (though perhaps that was the intended effect). Most FF tend to portray him and Natasha on a more even eye-to-eye level, so his complete subordination of his own emotions to her detachment does feel odd (compared to the romantization of their relationship in FF).

Your description of the scene is lovely, though - smooth sentences that pull a reader forward through the prose.

Your writing is good. I'll give you that, you're very talented. And I see how you are trying to portray that Natasha is different from Clint, but I just really feel like you've cheapened their relationship with this story. There is so much more between these two that we see in the movie, I just think you make Natasha a different person than what we are introduced to in the Avengers. I don't see her being as dead to emotion as you make her. Sorry.
