Finally a story that has them talking before kissing! Which seems much more in character to me, because of Maura's need to analyze most things, Jane's insecurity sexually and the fact they transition out of friendship. So yaaaay!

Also, I adored the scene in which they are falling asleep, their hands reaching for each other. Beautiful.

I like how you ended this fic. As you said, it is full of possibilities. As much as I enjoy a fic that fills in all those possibilities, sometimes its nice to have it left to my own imagination.
