Straight up, I'm not the kind of guy who's all too comfortable with fluff 'n' stuff. I'm saying to hammer home the fact that is becoming obvious: this is not a decent story, at least compared to the other stuff I found so far for Claymore.
It's an awesome, outstanding one. It's short, true, but well-worded and clean. And that's what ultimately counts. The rest is just a question of taste.

Deneve is always so cool headed and reserved, Raki really broke through that defensive barrier of hers by doing such an unexpected thing. We've already seen the effect Raki has on the warriors in his relationships with Priscilla and with Clare. Not to mention all the young trainees! It is a pity that Yagi didn't incorporate this scenario into his own work, it certainly fit right in.

Poor Helen, you just know with her tendency for over the top behavior, she would have over done that hug and Miria would have had to rescue

I could easily see that happening with Raki, and Deneve's reaction was sweet, especially for her reserved nature. I also wonder why Helen didn't just ask for hug, I doubt Raki would say no. Until next time.
