DUN DUN DUN

Nice story! I really enjoyed the Loki/Tony developments here, and how Loki interacts with the whole team in general. You did a really good job at showing Loki's slow change in attitude towards the mortals and working with them. I also loved the angsty bits, if you can call them that, like the references to Loki's punishment and how he felt and thought about Asgard and the people he used to call family and friends. What I also really liked was that you used a modified Chitauri as the bad guy. I've never seen that in a fic before, and it's nice to something novel like that. Makes for good suspense, difficulties in predicting what's going to happen next and just generally a better story.

So! I can't wait to read the next chapter. Will the Avengers be successful at preventing the explosive(s) from exploding? And will Selvig and Jane be save or will the Chitauri get its hands on them? And how long will it take before realizes who this Thanos is that is behind everything? And how will he react once he finds out? I look forward to finding out.

Good story so far. As long as it doesn't suddenly turn to romance between Stark and Loki I'll probably keep enjoying it.
