I've been a fan of your writing for a while but never read this one (I tend to only read completed works) but this was amazing. I never wood have put these people into the framework of gone with the wind, but you did an amazing job. Draco was incredibly lovable, believable, and best of all, strangely in character. Likewise with Hermione, she was true to character, with all of her ambitions and ideals and ruthlessness and her mad passion for Ron. You brought GWTW to life in a way it never did for me and made me see just why Scarlett never believed Rhett was in love with her. I loved it. I especially loved all the wizarding details, the work-related background. I usually stay away from angst, but this just made me realize I don't despise angst; I just can't stand it when it's so prolonged and unnecessary and filler. This was fast-paced drama all the way. The development of their lives condensed in these fast chapters...everything is just lovely.

I really love your characterization of Draco. His lines are especially in character and witty. Gosh, Hermione really is awful in this story, isn't she? She's bitter and pretty and kind of a mess. You've really brought all her lures favorable qualities to light as persistent and default character traits. She doesn't really know what she wants. Or at least thinks she wants something but really it's all wrong for her and she needs something different. I love it.

Ahh. I'm so gutted. Whyy do they both have to be so headstrong? I feel terrible for the both of them. I so want them to have a happy ending. I hope you update the story here sometime.

This is a great story, I headed over to Hawthorne and Vine and caught the end of it there. Felt a bit...rushed at the end, like you were tired of the story. I thought it was a pretty fresh and original take, the obvious tie in with Gone With the Wind. Interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would gladly read a sequel if you were so inclined.

What a place to go on hiatus. Here's hoping inspiration will strike again.

This story is amazing in the way it can draw out emotions. Cannot believe Hermione is still pining after Ron - especially the scene where he admits he still has feelings for her. Cannot believe Hermione is so callous and blind sighted towards Draco's feelings.
Really did not see the story progressing this way after the first chapter with Cormac's involvement.

My essays had to wait for me to finish reading your work. That's how good it was.

Absolute stunning (and annoying) job of keeping me on my feet wondering "will they? Would she?..." Frustrating, but it's good to have a story that plays with your emotion.

I believe you deserve more reviews than this because this is quite some work :)

So after reading this chapter and the first I assume you're drawing some significant inspiration from Gone With the Wind. It's not a bad thing necessarily, a lot of fan fics are based on movie-lines/story lines, but I believe you should always credit those sources that you've been referencing or else its basically plagiarism. I don't mean this to be a bad review but if you had mentioned in the opening notes, or in the story summary that this was a GWtW take on Harry Potter I would have gladly read it through, but having drawn the conclusions myself I don't think I'll be reading the rest.

Easy to point the finger, I know but Christ I dispose her in this Fic. You have done a marvellous job. Kept me reading on for hours, wanting so desperately to see Hernione redeem herself.
