This so deserves to to part of a bigger story. Amanea reminds me a bit of Luna Lovegood from the Harry potter books (and even the films) always underestimated, overlooked and undervalued. Exploring this world you set up would be very welcoming. I also liked the fact you put in 'it doesnt' work that way' and Jane is a daughter-in-law. (after she just because Jane is the sire she isn't male so she isn't a son but a daughter.)

Amanea has got to be the coolest, flaky-ist, half-hanr sister ever. Just, bravo my friend. Bravo.

Yeah, this was quite brilliant, sweet and funny. Liara's half-hanar sister is hilarious. And Aethyta is cool per default.

What an awesome story, great job! I loved how you retold the first part from Aethyta's point of view, making for a very interesting read throughout since few ever explore how she'd really feel about Liara and Shepard.

Also, Amanea is now officially my headcanon for Liara's half-hanar sister - great work there, as well!
