I wonder if Feli knows this. Doesn't seem like it if he plots to kill his brother for his lette, and knowing Ludwig probably does return his feelings... Justice is served the moment Feliciano tries to kill his brother the next round. Enjoy getting ate by him and all those poor souls you turned Feliciano. You horrible brother you (in this).

What amazes me is the perfection of their inisials. A for Arthur and Antonio, L for Lovino and Ludwig, really perfect for the pairings (USUK, Gerita, and Spamano, tee-hee). Oh Feliciano you genius little bastard.

I remember this story. I read this when I first got into anime and manga... The title is school mermaid. I read it several times then the website got shut down. I thank you for writing this parody. I certainly enjoyed it.

To the anon below... I have no means of answering your question except thru here so I'm very sorry if this might be considered spamming. Anyways... The idea of this story isn't about immortality from eating mermaid's flesh. The mermaids here have specified letters which happened to be the first letter of their first name (hence A for Arthur and L for Lovino) and then, eating the flesh of an A mermaid for example, will make another person (whom you will choose) whose name starting with A smitten with the person who ate the flesh thus implying that after Feli ate Arthur's flesh, he would then choose to date Antonio and then once he ate Lovino's flesh, he would then get Ludwig fall head over heels for him. As I've mentioned in the story, this is a parody of a horror manga (I am disclaming all the rights of the mermaid flesh eating idea to the mangaka) which I can't remember the title, but I am pretty sure that it wasn't the Forbidden Siren. Though I've watched the Japanese Movie of the same title, and as far as I remember, there were no cannibalism there... (but I might be remembering wrong, so forgive me)

As for the immortality thing, I kind of researched about it after reading your review (I didn't even know such legend existed and I was actually fascinated! Thanks for that) and found that there really was a Japanese folk tale called Yao Bikuni that tackled gaining inmortality from eating the flesh of a Ningyo (the Japanese fish person variety). So this might be the origin you were hoping for.

Where did you get this idea of eating mermaid flesh for immortality? Did you by any chance get the idea from the Japanese horror game 'Forbidden Siren'? I've been trying to locate the origins to this theory (is it a Japanese legend after all?, etc.) so I'd be VERY grateful if you remembered where you might've heard it from
