I came across this story and I have to say it is a fascinating tale. I'm very much enjoying Jasmine's descent into darkness. I like how the kingdom has fallen apart without Jafar there to run things and it is the fault of Aladdin and the Sultan.

The one thing plot-wise I wonder about is why Aladdin has been left alive. I get torturing him for a while but as he is not a born royal he would have no value so why didn't they just kill him?

I very much like your writing, but if there is one minor critique it is the overuse of pronouns. There are often times when I have to read a sentence over multiple times to figure which him, her, she, he etc is being referred to. I think you need to use character names just a little more often just to make the story a little clearer. Other than that though excellent job, keep up the good work.

I am DYING to read more of this I love this pairing I am even cosplaying them soon with my boyfriend! Please write more, make a book, sell me that book XD

I'm so glad that you and the baby are healthy. Something like that can be frightening, but it's great to hear that you both pulled through. Baby's are so precious :)

Interesting...the darkness that she feels in her mind has come to life and has been given physical properties as a figment of her imagination...one she can speak with...

An obvious defense mechanism to keep her mind from shutting down, but I'm curious to see exactly how much she can take before being shattered and succumbing to it all. It has got to be difficult for you to write her this way. Jasmine in the movie is almost a direct contradiction to what you are trying to portray and yet you somehow manage to keep her in character. She isn't way off the mark given the circumstances.

I've only become more curious :\
Ares is even more intriguing than the General that reminds me of Khal Drogo. I wonder what that implies about me that such dark characters draw my attention? Regardless, I get the feeling that Jasmine will have more problems than her prideful and rebellious nature. The King is more than meets the eye, and he's proven to be quite sadistic and equally intelligent.

Oh my lord - this fanfiction is mindblowingly good! I love how incharacter Jafar is, I love how well written it is, and how you've captured Jasmine perfectly while painting as more than the two dimensional spoilt disney figure, adding in a harsh dose of reality to the fairy tale and the darkness of Jasmine's madness.

I absolutely adore this story. It is really good. Honest. I wish I could write this good, minus a few grammatical errors.

I get the feeling that only more suffering will follow...
I'm curious as to what role Jafar will play in this. I mean, obviously he's important...very important. Especially because he's smarter than the average man. I'm also curious...did they kill Aladdin? I can't remember if that was mentioned or not. I had to do a lot of remembering in order to read this chapter. It took me a while before I was able to force myself into remembering what when down in the few chapters before. I suppose I read way too many fanfiction. Regardless, this is turning out wonderfully.

Substance-wise, you did an excellent job. I am enjoying this fic too much. Thanks to you, I have gone over to the dark side and am relishing the J and J pairing. But since I am Hookxolder Wendy fan, the leap wasnt too hard to make in the Aladdin fandom, hehe. Yes, I accidentally discovered your sensous fic while reading your Peter Pan one. I cannot wait to see how this story unfolds.
