This story is absolute perfection! What he said to her in chapter 5 : "I couldn't bear to be seperated from you, to not see you and be with you every day. We've lived our lives side by side for so many years and now that we've arrived at the last part...I want to spend it with you."...OMG, I know my face was contorted at that point. I know half the women in the world would give their eye teeth, their right arm, their last penny and the shirt off of their back to get a proposal like that, especially if the proposer had a voice like Charles Carsons.
