This was awesome. What really got me in the movie was that Steve never signed the cards so I love that he did and gave them back to Phil in this. I hope they will bring him back for the next movie! You wrote both of these characters really well :)

That was so beautiful. I cried in the movie when he died, I like that you brought him back. This fic was so wonderfully beautiful, I cried at the end. Good cries though, relief and happy tears. This has now become one of my favorite Avengers story. I absolutely love it!

Thanks for the fic! That was the only thing I hated about the movie too. And I thought it was real suspicious Fury said they "called it" instead of he's dead. Besides Joss Whedon's characters never stay dead anyway. You hear that Whedon? (I firmly believe the best pilot in the verse is still with us too - that giant whole that was punched into his chest by that catapulted wood spike was easily patched up by Simon after the battle. Right, Whedon!)
