And I love it how he still cares about her and how he told her that. He didn't hide. He didn't not answer.

Yeah, I should have read this before seeing Always, but I can still appreciate your awesome writing skills and, of course, your speculation. First of all, that knife that Evelyn found. Wow. That's seriously creepy. Secondly, you may be known for your fluff, but my gosh, Joy, you write great drama. Thirdly, I think it's perfect the way you started chapter 3 in the moment with only that last line "chasing him this time" as explanation. Very, very effective. Fourthly, I know case-fic is hard to write and sometimes hard to read, but you had me on this one. It's well-crafted and well-executed and even though I know it happened differently, I was still somehow completely invested in the way you set it up. And the twist. THE TWIST. And the LAST LINE. You're way too good at this.
