I very much enjoyed this story and I think it was nice to get mainly Greg's perspective. It somehow fit.

Aw gosh, poor Greg. His wife's an idiot...to put it nicely. But I'm so happy he and Mycroft got together. YAY :D :D :D :D

So, let me begin with Greg. Oh my poor boy, we all know you don't deserve to go trough all that shit. But you showed him in such a good and accurate way - nonetheless trying to safe the marriage and resisting to sleep with Mycroft.
And Mycroft - polite, charming, a little awkward with people and so perfectly caring. I adore how you described it, and the big plus for not making him /jump/ on Lestrade when he got an occasion.
Basically, I just can't verbalize how much I enjoyed it.

OMW! Poor Greg. I actually hugged my laptop when he broke down at Mycroft's.
Even though you said in your author's notes you wished it had been more 'Mystradey' I think it has a perfect tone; you didn't let the Mystrade confuse his obvious distress at the goings on with his wife, anything stronger might have made it seem unbelievable. I think you got Lestrade just right. This part was especially great in my mind:Fuck, say something already, Greg. "Um…" Master of eloquence, you are. "Thanks?" Beautiful. Poetry, in fact. Just go hide yourself in a hole. "S-Sorry, it's been… ages, really, since anyone said something like that to me."

As it is I really enjoyed reading.

awww...that was really cute. it actually made it believable...in a way. I'll read almost anything, if it seems believable. Obviously, I got all the way to the end of this, and it was great!

OMG, I'm so impressed you bring such a gentlemanly and kind Mycroft to us! I always know Mycroft is not a sociopath the way Sherlock is. I think he must be gentle, thorough, and thoughtful. And I have to admit the way you make Mycroft is just the same as what I expect him to be.
