I like.

Enjoyed the story. I always wondered why hatter looked so boring when he got to earth. I mean, the hair-blech! But now I know he did it for politics sake. now I have to go back to reread.

I have read a lot of Alice fics and Hatter-goes-to-earth is one of the most utilized subjects. That is a major reason you can be proud of this fic, because it explores a familiar subject without being stale at all.

I like the idea of Jack inviting Hatter to be on his "advisory council thing" (such a Hatter way of saying it), and how Hatter first turns it down and then almost accepts. That was a twist I'd not read before.

Your prose gripped me, too. There are several turns of phrase in here I especially appreciated, but this was my favorite: "Hatter hadn't tasted relief this fresh since the teashop closed."

Very nice bit of work.

This was lovely. It had a very nice rhythm to it, the prose had a good rise & fall. Bravo.

I don't know this verse at all but I do love the glorious descriptions, the colors, the eclectically drawn personalities, and most of all his longing for ALICE. I love all the different sounds his shoes make.
