And I can totally see Hermione using the Elder Wand on the Resurrection Stone to bring Snape back. Because I like him. And I said so. And, because the Wand Stone combo is so powerful yet perfectly stable (and reusable), she also brings back Remus and Tonks. And maybe the twin whichever one it was (Idc, not into the twins really, but still, Molly would be happy and while Idrc about her, either, she's a mom, give her her kid back already). And Hedwig (because "the dog", even if it's an owl, should never be murdered in any story ever). And Crooks is found. The next day because HE'S HER CAT, DAMMIT. And, because it IS the Elder Wand, she's able to easily locate her parents and completely restore their memories and heal all her curse-and-otherwise scars. And LavLav so she can wander off and get lost with WonWon because who needs red-head pubes in their shower soap?

Of course all the newly-discovered survivors are "found" in one of the forests she and the boys camped out in during their long and meandering (really? they wondered around THAT long?) Horcrux search so that their reappearance is in no way tied to her because she's smart like that. They weren't really killed, you see...Tom had, um, created a new spell...yeah, that's it...a new spell that, um, sent the real person to that forest (for later, um, capture/torture, or, um, something) and replaced them with, um, a look-alike who, um, yeah, died looking like them...and he told his bestest DEs about this, um, spell... (You can save whoever else you want from the war, too, except Albus because he, um, died before the, um, spell was, um, created...)

Very interesting theory...could totally see Hermione thinking those thoughts and following through. I can also see her accio'ing the stone...and the cloak...just to study them, but if she's not careful, I can also see her falling prey to the lure of their power, too. I can see her starting out with the very best of intentions, but then...

And I have to say: I totally agree with you. With this particular batch of bought-and-paid-for Republicans at the helm, it is going to take DECADES to put the country back to rights. So: vote - vote in every single election you possibly can from dog-catcher on up. Be active on social media - you never know whose vote your particular idea or description might sway. Despite the treasonous "Electoral College" and their bribed votes, in all other elections, actual votes count, so do it. Vote your little ass off.

And then when Harry dies at the ripe old age of 183, he leaves the Potter Cloak to the last living of his old school friends, the now Head Unspeakable HG. Giving it to her, rather then his desendents mostly because she's the last to Know it's one of the Hallows, and he knows she will keep it safe... I'm favoriting this, by the way.

Ah, yes, that always bothered me as well, and this fits beautifully with my understanding of Hermione. Oh, and it's well written too.
