I also really, really like the way you manage to write Shepard in your non-Shepard-centric stories. You don't specify any personal details about Shep. It's great- you write these and alienate nobody, because you don't personalize Shepard.

Even with the dire situation you put these three in, I couldn't help grinning while reading this. I think Ashley just figured out that she gives a damn about anyone she's responsible for, no matter what color they bleed.

I really, really liked it. And I am not a fan of Ash in ME1. And you wrote her totally not annoying, while still being in character. And Garrus is his usual smug self. Loved the banter between those two.

I definitely like this story. The second chapter delivered. You should definitely keep writing like this, you're pretty good at it. The way they destroyed the Mako was pretty awesome (not to mention badass) and I really liked the banter between Ashley and Garrus later in the Medbay.

Well, I'm happy to have read this. Your characterizations were flawless. Especially that you managed to catch a more ME1-era Liara rather than defaulting to her more hardcore demeanor in the later installments (for someone with a mellinial lifespan, she sure changes quickly.) I especially like your Ash, however. You actually catch her character rather than getting caught in her suspicious attitude.

Wow, this is seriously great. Loving the character interactions and the internal confusion. Garrus seems especially well done, but I just like Garrus in everything so I'm probably not too reliable on that. On the other hand your Ash, who I was never too fond of in game, is awesome - nicely both battle-hardened and not sure what to do. Also, Tennyson rocks.
