| The Ghostly Minion chapter 1 . 11/17/2019 I never reviewed! Odd. First, this is such a good Harmony story. It was clear, even in CoS that they were quite in tune with each other. I posit that Harry was under various blocks on his magic and intelligence (poor socialization from the Dursleys notwithstanding). The shock at Hermione’s condition and the callousness/indifference by the authority figures broke open those blocks. Second, the acceptance by the Grangers coupled with the overt aid by Gringotts and Dobby were vital. After all Harry had solid foundations but needed the resources to build on them. He got all that and more. The road to follow was twisted and full of potholes and roadblocks. Thankfully all the way through he received the help, knowledge and backup to become the man and wizard who could bring Hermione back. Third, was Hermione’s intelligence to find and apply her magic to complete her initial cure. She was 15 and Harry 14 and the strongest of their ages (at the bare minimum). Fourth, To move to the States on the New Year’s 1995 made sense. Personally, their magical and mundane educations did not need any detail than was given. I’d like to have seen their ending of Voldemort in detail. Finally, to reveal their story now makes sense, to take down Britain’s posturings once and for all. Thanks again. TGM |
