According to NetFlix this episode happens after theya re broken up and after re watching it makes since. I wonder how your story would fow if this chapter would have been after the breakup. The breakup to me comes out of nowhere so this episode helps with the flow of their relationship.

I've read this story a few time and I really think this chapter is where Jade and Beck's relationship starts to change. He doesn't sympathize with Jade as much anymore. He doesn't even check in with her knowing that she didn't get the part and is upset.
