I can't believe how little attention this has gotten, it's a little sad. But onto what I have to say!
Your writing style is absolutely unforgettable and quite witty. Your characterization of May is pretty surprising, I haven't seen many fanfics take that turn with her. At least, not as tastefully as you did.
Plus, you wrote Maxie in a way that almost everything he did was attractive, which I'm guessing was a little unintentional. Maybe it's just me? I also love the little jabs of sarcasm here and there, it adds more character to the story.
All in all, I'm eager to read chapter 3 if you ever happen to get around to it. Cheers and happy holidays!

This is absolutely incredible! I could feel May's desperation... I never expect fanfics to actually move me but this one has. Please please update this if you ever get the chance! Maxie/may ships are limited as it is, and are especially lacking this kind of depth!

I AM SCREAMING. I tried to throw money at the screen for you but it just didn't work out.

Everything about this was real. The emotions and pain both May and Maxie felt were clear and realistic. Their dynamic from the moment Maxie first saves her is great seeing as they were enemies and it would only be right for May to feel torn.

Your little twist on how May invades Aqua's hideout was welcomed too.

Wow, can I just say I'm shocked that this doesn't have more reviews because it really deserves them. I mean the pairing may be rare, but regardless this is just beautifully written. That beginning scene between Archie and Shelly was brilliant. Just fantastic how you portrayed this loyalty and sense of grief to the situation that was caused.

I also love how you had Maxie and May interact instead of just having her throw herself at him with a kissy goo face she was believably thankful for him saving her. The reaction to losing her pokemon was heart-breakingly real.

This is fantastic and I do hope you plan to keep this going because no matter how long it takes I can't wait to read another chapter.

Why aren't there more reviews?

This is probably the best pokemon fanfiction I've read in a while. It was all very realistic and their thoughts and actions actually made sense. Her reaction to losing her pokemon was very believable.

I was incredibly relieved there wasn't any "I love you" sap going on. I do appreciate the ship including May and Maxie every now and then though.

Gotta say that I love your writing style.

I really love redorbshipping (maxie x may) and this is the BEST one on here so far! one that didn't involve rape and maxie actually acted like how he would and so did may, I really hope you finish this fan fiction! this was a beautiful piece of work!
