I laughed quite hard after reading that it took twenty days to relate the story to the children!

Hmm... would it really okay for Lucius, an avid worshiper of St. Elimine, to have a "consummated" relationship with Florina outside of marriage? :p

Joking aside, this was an interesting piece of writing. Other than the... wondrous events of chapter eight and a couple chapters after, it was mostly happy, which is something I appreciate. As well, I know I've said this many, many times, but you are an amazing writer. I don't even understand how you can even come up with some of this stuff, but you do, and it works beautifully.

Despite the events of chapter eight, I'm giving you my 'not at all coveted' 10/10, which get's awarded to stories that I thoroughly enjoy. You earned it. Congrats on being so talented.

I seriously doubt this was the effect you were going for, but this chapter made me laugh a LOT. Almost everyone had some funny antic going on, and this was just a nice, light-hearted chapter; a delight to read.

Heh heh, I bet Lucius is starting to get real feelings for Florina now! Thinking about the kiss, leaning in close while dancing... that's the fluffy type of stuff I thrive on. :p

I have quite enjoyed this story thus far. And Lucius really can be a tank. Every time I've played he's been key to the final battle.

Florina and Lucius do seem like they'd get along well. They really should've made them able to support each other in the game.

Can't wait to see how this story ends! And hope you keep writing about Lucius because not enough people do ;)

I think the fourteen chapter could have been shortened to their thrid to preserve the reader's interest and the dynamic.

Looks like everything has come full circle. Lucius saves Florina from poison with the Bergamot and vetiver, and now Florina does the same.

Have you done any chapters from Florina POV? It seems that this story is Lucius POV, but I would love to see something from Florina.

Short and sweet. Nothing wrong with that; a small glimmer of hope that things just might turn out okay, as long as there's someone to get you through it. The essence of hurt/comfort.

Such a touching chapter. It helps the reader feel warm and fuzzy inside. Okay, it makes ME warm and fuzzy inside, but whatever.

I've been reacting quite strangely to the events of the last two chapters. Being Mr. Non-Angst, I was quite upset at the events of chapter 8, (although other people had the same reaction) and chapter 9 was quite dark as well... and yet, for some reason, I burst out laughing reading Hector's comment about the pay being halted. I don't understand myself. :p

After chapter 8, I almost gave up on the story... (considering my comment about the situation in my last review was basically FORESHADOWING that I never noticed before until it was too late) But that would be completely unfair to you just because of my stubbornness, and I apologize.

If you're going to do something, you have to do it right... and you're doing it perfectly. Even in the darkest moments, you're writing with an extremely high standard of quality, and that really adds to the impact you're trying to achieve with your readers. In my opinion, nothing is botched up at all. Seriously, you're doing great with this. Don't stop!

Although if I had my way, Priscilla would still be alive. :p But that would ruin the point, wouldn't it? Whatever, just ignore me. I'm probably just rambling by now; when do I actually have anything important to say?
