Sad, but nevertheless comforting. Sam is really brave to stand by Edgar like this. Poor Edgar though ... Seeing him like this was heartbreaking.

Their grief is astounding but perfectly spot on in this, and can I just say that I LOVE the idea of Sam leaving with Edgar? I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that before, or at least how much I love the friendship these three shared and live happily in denial that it ever came to an end, but I do love the ending to this. It somehow lifted my spirits despite the wonderfully depressing moments earlier. Sorry I haven't been reviewing as well, I've somehow segued into the Outsiders fandom from here and have been devouring that fandom recently, but I had to come back and read more from the Lost Boys eventually.

Aw, that was really sad. I think you descirbed their grief very well. I was glad that Sam chose to go with him. It won't cure Edgar's pain, but at least it gave me a sense that he'll have someone there to help him through it. Thanks for a the great read. Keep writing.
