I was seriously thinking that it was from the point of view of River, and wondered why it was so out of character for her. But I like the twist! Great oneshot :)

This was so poignant and sad. Where is River? why isn't Jayne with her and who is the girl he's sleeping with? I feel badly for him. Great story. I hope we'll get another chapter?
