Quite a few WHAT would have done WHAT? She asked him how many students would have survived? She's now saying quite a few of them would have survived, even if a dragon had destroyed the stands they were sitting in? That makes no sense. Quite a few dragons would have destroyed the stands? Quite a few students would have left in disgust? Quite a few spectators would have mooned the dragon? That sentence is so vague as to be absolutely useless.
