This is really good! The Pearlshipping moments are one of the best. I think certain improvements can be made with regards to the battle texts - e.g. calling out Pokèmon names before calling out the move can add more flavor to the scene instead of just replying each other with moves.

From beginning to end, this story is amazing. It's beautifully written and all the details provide great mental imaging. There was adventure, love, pain, humor and victory. And it was amazing. Kenny made me laugh a bit every time he tried to win Dawn. I wish we could have seen a battle against the Lugia, though. And awesome job having Ash finally win a League, though I actually expected him to make it through the 4 and lose to Alder in a very close battle. Oh well. It was still an amazing story. It actually gives me some inspiration for my own story where Dawn challenges the Johto League.

I love this story. Amazing job overall. Hope to see another story from you soon :D
