So so so cute! And a great plot to ensnare Sora on Kairi and Riku's parts.

I know this story's several years old, but I couldn't close the tab without leaving a review. Where to even start. The chemistry between Sora and Kairi is practically leaping off the screen. Their conversations with each other were a joy to read.

Sora's such a wonderfully unreliable narrator, too. Like when he spends several sentences describing Kairi's beauty, and then says he's immune to her charms. M-hmm, sure buddy, sure. I think I know why other girls haven't approached you, and somehow I get the feeling you're not as average looking as you think, either.

His deliberate obtuseness, along with his slow realization in the face of all the overwhelming evidence - very, very well done. And I love how forward Kairi is, and yet how very carefully she dances around outright telling him she likes him. It made for great tension and a very satisfying climax when she finally admitted her feelings.

The title is a fun reference to a hilarious movie (speaking of which, the cover photo is really cute!), but it goes beyond that. It ties everything together perfectly and just fits the story so well. Sora finally realizing he was the something about her was fantastic.

And last but not least, your writing just flows off the screen. You've got a great knack for humor, too. I was grinning like an idiot the whole time I read the story, and several lines even made me laugh out loud (like the human resources one, and Demyx's lyrics). Thank you for writing this!

Wow. Wow man, Wow. This story was excellent man! I don't normally write reviews, especially about older stories, but I felt like I needed to say something. The many interactions of Sora actings as a Date buffer for Kairi and Riku were incredibly funny, borderline Crack, but still stayed fairly cemented in reality for me to take it seriously. Sora's inner dialogue and thoughts were practically an adventure in itself. I mean come on, "Is she going to stab me? She's going to stab me, isn't she? Please don't stab me!" I was practically dying of laughter whenever I wasn't completely invested in the story's development. Their relationship was incredibly fun and witty, and developed really smoothly and had an incredibly satisfying climax and conclusion, which surprisingly can't be said as often as I would like.

Some people struggle to create a story that feels even half as cute, fun, or satisfying as your story did with dozen and dozens of chapters, but you really managed to create a GREAT story in only two chapters. A clear beginning, middle, and end. Great flow and development. INCREDIBLY satisfying conclusion. Tons of fun and cute cute romance. Their relationship was really interesting and the dialogue was witty. And you didn't skimp out on the length of the chapters either. And a couple of things as well, but I don't won't to sit here and list everything single thing. The only thing I might have liked to see would be a little more descriptions in some places to better set the mood, but I feel like it would have messed up the the rather quick and witty flow of the dialogue that you had going, so I can't complain there.

All in all, it's stories like these that should be a standard for quality One-Shots/short stories. So thank you for writing this, I really really enjoyed it!

at one point i couldn't remember what this was called and i was so upset because this one of the first stories i read on here and i fell in love with it and i wanted to find it again. thankfully i did, and this is one of my top favorites. D

You put in the story "under a better author itd be the other way around," but I liked your twist better. And that's probably why you're a better author.
