Wow - I was very pulled in by the gauntlet of mixed emotions you tug Haymitch through - very nice story.

It takes a certain kind of bravery to accept your death. Rue, for example.

It also takes a certain kind of bravery to keep living in a world too cruel to live in. Like Katniss.

Hard to tell which is better sometimes.

I can't believe my luck on finding this story. It's so difficult to find good ones about Haymitch and Peeta and/or Katniss. Very good characterization and writing. Hope to see more of these!
